A2 Jazz Fest

This four-day event (Thursday, October 3rd through Sunday, October 6th) will be hosted by five local venues—The Ark, Blue LLama Jazz Club, Kerrytown Concert House, Canterbury House and Raven’s Club. In addition to internationally known headliners, Joshua Redman, ft. Gabrielle Cavassa and Dee Dee Bridgewater w/ Bill Charlap this year’s star-studded A2 Jazz Fest will feature a Jazz Master Class at Kerrytown Concert House ALL interested are encouraged to attend – we welcome ALL those curious about this important and uniquely American music!!! Ann Arbor’s original Jazz Ambassador and Indiana University professor, Sean Dobbins (drums) and Wayne State Professor, Kresge Arts Fellow and Detroit legend, Vincent Chandler (trombone) will bring their deep jazz educator chops to this RARE and FREE youth-focused learning opportunity. Pre-Festival events in September include partnerships with the Ann Arbor Film Festival on September 19th and at Venue by 4M on September 29th.
